14:50 Interreligiöses Friedensfest
The
Vienna International Gospel Choir was invited to perform at the
interreligious peace festival of the 15th district in Vienna. It was an
outdoor concert on a beautiful day. The VIGC fit in perfectly in a program
with music and religion-minded performances from all around the world. The
singers truly enjoyed singing there as you can see in these pictures.
Christian Horvath filled in as a director (or more as an "Animateur"), since
the real director Maria-Jose Villamil accompanied the VIGC on the piano.
Afterwards the VIGC went to a Mexican restaurant nearby and had a great time
of fellowship.
Programm
Der Vienna International Gospel Choir
wurde eingeladen beim Interreligiösen Friedensfest des 15. Bezirks in Wien
aufzutreten. Es war ein Outdoor-Konzert im Vogelweidpark an einem
wunderschönen, sonnigen Tag. Der VIGC passte wunderbar in ein Programm mit
Musik und religiösen Performances aus der ganzen Welt. Die SängerInnen
zeigten ihre Freude - wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. Christian Horvath hat als
Dirigent (oder eher als "Animateur") gewirkt, da die echte Chorleiterin
Maria-Jose Villamil den Chor am Klavier begleitete. Nach dem Auftritt ging
wir in ein Mexikan. Restaurant in der Nähe und genossen noch wunderbare
Stunden in Geselligkeit.
